Vouvray, known especially for dry and sweet still wines made from Chenin Blanc, also produces unique sparkling wines from that grape. This still family-owned estate has been making sparkling wine using the traditional method of fermentation — as in Champagne — since 1959. This lively, non-vintage bottling melds both the fruity and minerally aspect of Chenin Blanc planted in Vouvray. Rich, bright, and firm, it has plenty of power, so, after you have a glass as an aperitif, bring the bottle to the table.
