San Leonardo, an under-the-radar producer of spectacular Bordeaux-blend reds, also makes this fine, racy Sauvignon Blanc. The slightly grassy and piquant nature characteristic of Sauvignon Blanc is apparent, but more as a condiment rather than the main course, imparting a stylish quality to the wine. Clean and crisp, a prolonged citrus finish just adds to its appeal. It’s an excellent choice for summertime seafood.
