Louis Latour, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, Burgundy, 1982

Drinking Window: 2021 – 2021
Clean and fresh aromas contradict the suspicious orange-y colour. An initial crispness on the palate puts to rest the fear than it is over the hill. Brilliant acidity balances nut-like nuances and dried fruit flavours of maturity. Similar to the 1978, the 1982 is, after 38 years, just starting to decline.
