Joseph Drouhin, Meursault (Burgundy, France) 2014

($60, Dreyfus, Ashby & Co.): Here is another shining example of the grandeur of the 2014 vintage for white Burgundy.  Drouhin, one of the region’s finest producers, has fashioned a village wine that could pass for premier cru.  It has a touch of the spice and complexity I associate with Meursault Genevrières.  Long and precise, it’s a wonderful village wine that delivers more than its pedigree suggests.
