($9):  This is a softly textured easy to sip red that finishes a touch sweet.  Fortunately, it is not overdone, weighing in at a modest 13.5 percent stated alcohol, which makes it a fine choice for those who prefer to sip on a red wine as an aperitif.  Labeled “Reserve,” I would be surprised if there were a non-reserve bottling.
