($36):  Merry Edwards is clearly a very talented winemaker because not only does she produce stunning Pinot Noirs, she also makes incredible Sauvignon Blanc.  Her 2017 seamlessly balances a subtle and welcome bite characteristic of the variety with a creamy, mineral-infused elegance to produce a dazzling array of flavors.  Everything fits together.  Nothing is overdone or overt.  It’s a masterful achievement with a variety that gets little recognition.
