($21, Pasternak Wine Imports): Guy Saget, one of the Loire’s best producers, has controlled this domaine for the past 15 years. The 2009, a great vintage in the Loire, is one of his best. With so much diluted Sancerre on the market, it’s a pleasure to find this one, full of chalky minerality. A flinty, almost smoky aspect and enlivening acidity means you don’t tire of drinking this wine with a meal. Try it with shellfish or grilled swordfish. 90 Michael Apstein Aug 23, 2011
