($26): Thanks goes to Christy Canterbury, MW, who suggested I try this wine at a recent tasting.  It’s an incredible bargain for authentic Pinot Noir.  Mary Elke and her team have captured the nuances of which the grape is capable.  It has what I refer to as the “flavor without weight” character almost unique to Pinot Noir.  Delivering both delicate red fruit flavors and intriguing earthy tones, it’s beautifully balanced and vibrant.
