($25, Dreyfus, Ashby & Company): Consumers who complain about the high price of Burgundy (count me in, by the way) need to run out and buy this wine. Rully, one of the five appellations within the Côte Chalonnaise, is home to some terrific white wines, made, as in the case with all white Burgundy, from Chardonnay. Here Chardonnay comes across as stony and firm, but not austere or hard. Drouhin consistently makes a wonderful white Rully. The 2013 conveys a hint of white flowers followed by a precise, cutting and clean mineral aspect. It’s a fabulous bargain for what it delivers — and a perfect way to elevate a take-out rotisserie chicken.
