($29):  Wow!  Who knew Albariño could do so well in Virginia?  Initial aromatics captivate and predict pleasure.  A crisp cutting edginess balances its surprising depth.  Zesty spiciness just enhances its appeal.  The barest hint of an attractive bitterness, characteristic of the grape, appears in the finish.  The modest 12.8% stated alcohol reminds us you don’t need super ripe grapes to make a super wine.  Drink this wine all summer and smile.  It will cut through the heat of the summer and the spice in anything on the table.
