($18): New Zealand continues to be the go-to country for outstanding Sauvignon Blanc at reasonable prices, such as this one from Nobilo.  Nobilo’s 2014 Icon provides pungency without screaming.  It’s deep with hints of tropical fruit flavors and long with acidity that electrifies without overwhelming, which means it’s balanced.  And a great choice for chicken in a mustard cream sauce.
