($45): This wine, Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Bordeaux blend, is a more concentrated and muscular version of their excellent Indian Wells Cabernet (reviewed previously). It has the same alluring combination of minerality and black fruit flavors with more power and a firmer tannic backbone, suggestive of mountain grown fruit. Given its structure, a few more years in the cellar to allow it to settle down and come together is a good idea. 92 Michael Apstein Feb 24, 2009
