($15, Gonzalez Byass USA):  This bright, mid-weight Tempranillo-based wine is a pleasure to drink now.  Fresh and lively, it is fruity, but not too fruity, and carries its stated 14.5 percent alcohol seamlessly.  Mild tannins provide needed structure without astringency.  Its price makes it an everyday kind of wine.
